What I liked and didn’t like so much about this week
My mom does this post talking about what she liked and disliked of the week, and I think it’s a good idea so…
Likes:
- Coming home after a wonderful trip in Hawaii with my mom, aunt and cousin. It was so fun, I enjoyed all my time with them. We’re weirdos!
- Seeing John’s surprised and excited expression when he came home from school to see me waiting for him a day earlier than he expected. I also got a lot of hugs…
- Chatting with John’s mom while I waited from him to get home. She’s fun to talk to.
- Not having to get up to go to school until 9:30 because of WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning) And only having to go to three classes a day because of it
- Being in a Flute Quartet for the Solo and Ensemble here. Our Adjudicator told me to play louder…
- Playing my own “I Spy” game at the Pokemon State competition. There was a lot of stuff… A silver haired wig, a thing 1 shirt, a couple fedoras, two guys in orange jail jumpsuits, judges in lab coats, a girl with fangs, some rainbow socks, a guy with a long ponytail…. etc…..
- Going to a Science Museum with my family and playing connect four with my dad using robot arms. The submarine there was cool too, very cramped but our guide was funny. I learned the Ice Cream Machine must always be working!
- Going on a train with my brother. I’d never been on a train before, it was fun. My brother and I played card games and talked. Trains are actually quite comfortable.
- Telling John all about my day on the phone when I got back. He’s just fun to talk to
- Making bouncy balls in chemistry out of Elmer’s glue and sodium borate. They were kind of messy at first though.
- Making Briana laugh when I guarded her phone while she got her Biology book. She said it made her day.
- Spending the afternoon with John, even though I spilled a smoothie on pants…
- Clearing things up with Casie because she thought that I didn’t like her too much.
- Thinking of things that will be fun to do over spring break next week.
- Having no school tomorrow!
Don’t like so much:
- Leaving Hawaii to go back to the cold, rainy, windy, Kennewick
- Losing my Geometry book on the trip home
- Being emotional…. I’ll leave it there
- Deciding to not go with Briana to Disneyland, and finding out her other friend wasn’t going to go either.
- Not being home over the weekend to get some homework done. And because being at home is nice…
- Having bad cramps… igh
- Missing my Piano Recital where I would have gotten to play Fur Elise and a duet with my teacher.
- Having tests to make up.

WAHINE!!!!
You have such fun friends…. and aunts
So sad about losing the geometry book….. but on the bright side, you got a new phone!
Perhaps you can record yourself playing fur elise and post it here on your blog
So there is this rule, which says, as soon as you replace something, you will find it.
I delayed getting J’Neil a new geometry book just in case it miraculously turned up. But after two weeks with no appearance, I got online, found one and ordered it. Less that 12 hours later, the AWOL geometry book showed up, in the suitcase, which three of us had searched.
