Happy Valentine’s Day!!
I’m writing to tell you all happy Valentine’s Day (after the fact) and to share a little bit of mine.
In the morning I woke up and almost immediately started cleaning the kitchen to get ready for my Tea Party!! I invited John over to have a little tea party with me, although he didn’t know what it was. All he knew was that he had to look nice! (and he did
) My mom and I made little sandwiches that were his favorite. My dad made us some cheesecake, we had some chocolate dipped strawberries, and cheese and crackers. It all looked very cute.
When John finally arrived, he couldn’t stop smiling. He thought everything was so cute. He also kept on mentioning that he knew I spent a lot of time on it. I appreciate him noticing
After we had enjoyed our mini sandwiches and other yummy treats, we went outside for a walk. We walked up Briana’s house, wishing her a Happy Valentine’s Day too.
My favorite part of the day was when we came back. It’s kind of hard to explain but everything seemed relaxed. I played a few songs on my dad’s acoustic guitar while John messed around with my computer. Then my mom got him to hum along with me. We’re still working on singing
Around 7:00 we got together some brownies we had made earlier. My brother, John and I brought them to our friends and rounded them up to go get something to eat. We ended up going to Jack in the Box and enjoyed talking about pretty much anything.
Before he went home, John wanted to help clean up. He’s a very good helper. We then talked a bit over the -interweb-.
I had a great day, fantastic, marvelous,
stupendous, lovely, magnificent
oh! I’m full of words. ![]()

I’m glad you had a great day! It was a good time had by all, I especially liked hearing you play and sing.
So cute!! He sounds like a really nice guy. Hope you had a good one
What a great day! Michelle and I had a tea party with a couple of boys when we were 14 or 15… they wore tuxedos and we had date nut bread and punch (since tea wasn’t alllowed at our house, and I probably wouldn’t have liked it at time anyway). I may have to blog about that….
I’m glad John was not only a good sport - but actually enjoyed himself. I like John. You can tell him that.
These will be fun memories. Glad you got pictures.
Aw, sounds like you had a great time! You have a good guy, there. Happy Valentine’s day!!
What a fun and memorable valentines day. I’m so pleased it turned out well and that you are happy.
I was very pleased that John seemed to recognize and appreciate how much work you went to. And he was pleasant company.
