I’ll be in Hawaii in 2 weeks!!!!!! WOOO!!!!! YEAH! AWESOME! My mom, aunt, cousin and I are all going to Hawaii on the 8th of March. I’m so excited!! Who knows what fun we’ll get up to! Yay!!

So I’m sure many of you are wondering why I like toast so much. Because of that (and because I want to tell you..) I’m going to share my “recipe” for perfect toast. El pan tostado perfecto.

First, I love potato bread, I’m not sure why but it’s the best.

Then, it’s toasted only slightly so it’s warm and a little tiny bit crunchy, there’s not much browning on the bread

Next, lightly spread salted butter all over a side of bread and place on a folded paper towel (I’m not sure why, but that’s just how I eat toast – no plate, a paper towel)

Finally, enjoy your perfect toast which ever way you like, sitting down, standing up, on your head, in the air, in a box, with a fox…. whatever

As much as my dad probably would not like to admit, I am 15 this year. Which means I can get my permit when I’m 15 1/2  or before then if I’m enrolled in a drivers ed class. I was excited to be able to do that. With hearing people at school talk about drivers ed and seeing John drive himself home after dropping me off, I just wanted to more.

I mentioned it to my mom a couple times and sometimes gave hints like, “I want my permit”. So we have now looked at dates when I could take it and times that wouldn’t interrupt other things I’m doing and we’ve found them!

I will start driver’s ed on April 13th. Woo!!!! How fun!

I’m excited

I’m writing to tell you all happy Valentine’s Day (after the fact) and to share a little bit of mine.

In the morning I woke up and almost immediately started cleaning the kitchen to get ready for my Tea Party!! I invited John over to have a little tea party with me, although he didn’t know what it was. All he knew was that he had to look nice! (and he did ) My mom and I made little sandwiches that were his favorite. My dad made us some cheesecake, we had some chocolate dipped strawberries, and cheese and crackers. It all looked very cute.

When John finally arrived, he couldn’t stop smiling. He thought everything was so cute. He also kept on mentioning that he knew I spent a lot of time on it. I appreciate him noticing After we had enjoyed our mini sandwiches and other yummy treats, we went outside for a walk. We walked up Briana’s house, wishing her a Happy Valentine’s Day too.

My favorite part of the day was when we came back. It’s kind of hard to explain but everything seemed relaxed. I played a few songs on my dad’s acoustic guitar while John messed around with my computer. Then my mom got him to hum along with me. We’re still working on singing

Around 7:00 we got together some brownies we had made earlier. My brother, John and I brought them to our friends and rounded them up to go get something to eat. We ended up going to Jack in the Box and enjoyed talking about pretty much anything.

Before he went home, John wanted to help clean up. He’s a very good helper. We then talked a bit over the -interweb-.

oh! I’m full of words.

So.. here are my 25 things.. since I’m only into the first 15 years of my life and only have memories as far as 11 years ago, they might not be as interesting. But I’ll try to do my best on random things people don’t normally know.

1. I procrastinate on my homework, but do well. I’d like to get better on Not procrastinating.. but hey! I procrastinate on that too…  igh..

2. I like to selectively wear jewlery. I had once worn one necklace for around 4 months.

3. I have an obession with pi. I have it memorized to the 32nd digit and even scientists needing a lot of pi only need to know to about the 10th.. 3.1415926535…

4. I love math and science, learning about them gets me excited and hyper.

5. I used to always want to watch “A Story Baby” as an 8 year old.. I’m not sure why.

6. For some reason, I personally find it easier to make friends with guys that it is with girls.

7. I plan on having a doctorate in astrophysics before I plan to get married. (after about 7 years of college)

8. I have obsessive compulsive trait. I have the ability to become obsessive over something. It’s only becomes a Disorder when it affects my life in a bad way, such as being paranoid that I have some lethal disease. Although it can be shifted to things such as playing music, and I could become very proficient at it.

9. I want to name my kids very unique names. Considering them having to live with the names and potential for being made fun of, I won’t name them things like Dimitri, Gwenivere and Felix, but I Love those names. Right now they’d be named Hazel and Johnathan (I wouldn’t shorten it to John or Johnny, I’d want it to be Johnathan)

10. Frogs are my favorite animal. I really like the little blue poisonous ones the best, I did a project on them in school – they’re endangered, but they’re skin (when the poison is extracted) is somewhere around 10 times more effective than morphine without the addictive side effects.

11. Some people call me a walking dictionary… although I’m more like a thesaurus, and I can not spell.

12. My family likes to brag about me wanting to be a “rocket scientist”, but that’s not correct. I want to be a “Astrophysicist”. They say that rocket scientist sounds cooler .I assume that’s because more people are familiar with the term “rocket scientist”

13. Playing music makes me happy. Whether it’s emotional stuff on the piano or things on the flute so fast or high that I’m out of breath afterward, I’m still happy.

14. Valentine’s day is my favorite holiday, followed by Pi day, and All Hallows Eve.

15. I know 4 Tyler’s, and people with that name just don’t mix so well with me. One has a creepy thing for me.. (in a creepy way) and another has tried to sit on me. I’ll leave it at that.

16. My favorite fruit is either raspberries or strawberries. Raspberries are starting to be better though.

17. I’m a weirdo, I’m odd, sometimes annoying, different.. but my friend John never wants to agree with me on that, to him  – there’s nothing wrong with me.

18. I like to go for walks often. I think they’re relaxing.

19. My favorite food is toast. Yes, Toast.

20. I find enjoyment in snuggling into my bed at night. (although I’m sure many people do that)

21. I talk to myself, or talk to my stuffed animals as though they can hear me.

22. I have quite a collection of stuffed animals, all with names and I can tell you how I got each one.

23. I sometimes think about the worst things that can happen, it doesn’t seem to postive but they just come to mind. They don’t bother me.

24. I want to be happy as much as I can be, I find myself celebrating the smallest things, little things make me happy.

25. I try to make everyone around me happy. To do that makes me happy. It’s my goal in life to improve as many people’s moods as I can everyday.
